PP sink is made of welded polypropylene sheets. Polypropylene (abbreviated as PP) is a polymer made from propylene monomer by gas phase bulk polymerization, slurry polymerization, liquid phase bulk polymerization and other methods.
Physical properties
Appearance: Usually a translucent white solid, it can also present other colors depending on the additives
Density: The density is between 0.89 - 0.92g/cm³, which is one of the lighter varieties of plastics, making polypropylene products lighter and easier to carry and use.
Chemical properties
Chemical corrosion resistance: It has good stability to most acid, alkali and salt solutions, and can resist corrosion from a variety of organic solvents. For example, in the chemical industry, it can be used to store and transport some corrosive chemicals.
Antioxidation: It has good antioxidation properties at room temperature, but its antioxidation properties will decrease at high temperature or in an aerobic environment.
Mechanical properties
Strength and rigidity: It has high tensile strength, compressive strength and bending strength, and good rigidity. Its tensile strength is generally 21-39 MPa, bending strength is 42-56 MPa, and compressive strength is 39-56 MPa.
Toughness: The toughness is relatively poor at low temperatures, but it can be improved by modification.
4.Processing performance
Easy to form: can be manufactured into products of various shapes and specifications through various processing methods such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc.
Thermal stability: has good thermal stability during processing and is not easy to decompose.

Usually, PP sinks are made of PP sheets welded according to design requirements. The sheets are cut according to the drawings and then welded (both inside and outside need to be welded). At the same time, if the sink is large, channel steel will be added to the outside and bottom of the sink for reinforcement to prevent the water tank from deforming during use. This manufacturing method allows the production of PP sinks to be more flexible and can be processed according to the seller's requirements, while also maintaining the surface finish of the sink.
